By purchasing, downloading, or using Omnius software ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

Upon purchase, Omnius grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the server Software subject to the following conditions:

Each license is identified by a unique license key in the format OMNI-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential.

The Software connects to Omnius license servers to validate your license key. This includes:

If the license server is temporarily unreachable, the Software will continue to operate under a grace period of up to 7 days using cached validation data. After the grace period expires without successful revalidation, the Software will enter a restricted mode.

The Software may be run without a license key in "demo mode" with the following limitations:

Omnius retains all intellectual property rights in the Software. Your purchase grants a license to use the Software, not ownership of the underlying code, design, or technology.

8. Payment and Refunds

All plans are one-time payments processed through Paddle, our authorized payment provider. There are no recurring fees or subscriptions. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

Your license includes all updates within the same major version (e.g., all 1.x.x releases). Major version upgrades (e.g., from 1.x to 2.x) may require a separate purchase or upgrade fee. We will provide reasonable notice before releasing a new major version.

The Omnius Android TV and macOS client applications are distributed through their respective app stores. These apps are free to download and allow users to connect to any Omnius server by entering the server URL in the app settings. The client apps are provided "as is" and are subject to the app store terms of the respective platforms (Google Play, Apple App Store).

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Omnius be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.

We may revoke your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

Omnius provides a streaming platform infrastructure. You are solely responsible for the content you host, stream, or distribute using the Software. You must ensure that your use of the Software complies with all applicable laws, including copyright and content distribution laws in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
